About the Center for Cybersecurity

Opening in Fall 2026, the Center for Cybersecurity at Henrico High School will prepare students for success in one of the fastest-growing, highest-paying fields in the world.

Students will engage in rigorous, hands-on learning focused on cybersecurity, data science, and global perspectives. The program culminates in the opportunity to earn the CompTIA Security+ certification, a globally recognized credential that opens doors to careers such as Network Security Analyst, Security Architect, and Security Administrator.

In addition to a direct pathway into high-demand jobs, the Center integrates specialized data science and geopolitical coursework, preparing students who wish to continue their studies at the college level. Students will gain technical expertise, ethical decision-making skills, and a strong foundation in global citizenship, all while benefiting from partnerships with higher education and industry professionals.
